Amanda Joy


Amanda is the Science Education Program Manager at Phipps. She holds a B.A. in Biology from Ithaca College, a M.P.S. in Environmental Interpretation from The State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry and a M.S. in Biology Education from Syracuse University. She is also a member of the National Association for Interpretation and American Public Gardens Association. Prior to coming to Phipps, Amanda served as an educator in schools, nature centers and the zoo near her hometown of Syracuse, New York. She also spent a year as a volunteer science teacher in Guyana, South America.
